龙门石窟位于中国洛阳，它建了1400年，故是世界营造时间最长的石窟；它有佛教雕塑11万尊，亦是世界造像最多的石窟，其中最漂亮的就是我游画的这尊卢舍那大佛，据说它是按中国唯一的女皇帝武则天的容貌雕刻的，展现了唐代以胖为美的审美观。
Longmen Grottoes is located in Luoyang, China. Construction for the Longmen Grottoes lasted 1400 years, and it is the grotto with the longest construction time in the world. With over 110,000 Buddhist sculptures, it is also the grotto with the largest number of sculptures in the world. One of the most beautiful sculptures is the Lushena Buddha that I painted during my visit. It is believed that the sculpture was carved based on the appearance of Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in China. The sculpture demonstrates the aesthetic standards of the Tang Dynasty, when plumpness was considered to be beautiful .
